Gronski & Medick Performance Horses

So, it has been a while...Skyiler joined us the end of March and he is really starting to get in shape and is shedding like crazying.  We've been doing lots of long trotting and working over some poles- just practicing for trail. 

Danson is now in a snaffle bit, he steers and stops (always a good thing) and he has learned to set his head with occasional reminders.  Yesterday I rode him with one other horse in the arena - which was pretty distracting for him - but he handled it pretty good and got to practice being passed on the rail just  like  a big boy!  Danson had his first bath this week - no soap, just water - it was a nice day - 80 degrees and tonight they are calling for 30 - what a big change!
