Gronski & Medick Performance Horses

About Us

Sara Medick Gronski and Deborah Medick believe in giving young ponies a solid

foundation so they can continue to succeed for many years.  Horses are started under saddle slowly; so they have time to soak in the knowledge.

Deborah and Sara believe that a child's pony should last for a lifetime and therefore ponies aren't ridden hard nor pushed to perform before they are ready.  Ponies may be shown as 2 y/o's under saddle but they aren't ridden until late spring and are shown at a limited number of shows to avoid burnout and injury.

POAs started by Sara are eager to learn and are never pressured beyond their capabilities.  While these ponies may be started months after some of the other young ponies, they are still competitive ponies that are serious contenders in the show ring.

Deborah manages the home farm and raises the youngsters so they have solid ground manners and are easy to handle.  After being given a chance to grow up the ponies are started under saddle as 2 y/o's, shown lightly (win heavy) and then are offered for sale to approved homes.

Our ponies leave hoofprints in our lives.  It is important to us that we stay in contact with our pony's new family and so we can continue to follow our pony's progress and share in their successes.

Golden Horseshoe Club Open Horse Show - July 18, 2010

My T Danson Impulse made his walk-trot-canter debut at the Golden Horse Shoe Club open horse show on July 18, 2010.  He was shown in 3 HUS classes (Jr Horse, 19 & Over and Open) and 4 WP classes (open w/t, 19 & Over w/t, Jr Horse and Open WP).  Danson warmed up in heavy traffic - handled it like a pro; and was shown in crowded classes and acted like an experienced show pony.  More videos available of Danson on youtube - search My T Danson Impulse

WPOAC Show: Marshfield, WI

Skip That Impulse and My T Danson Impulse both had great shows in Marshfield on June 26th and 27th.  On the 26th Skyiler won Western Pleasure JPFC and 19 & Over under both judges in both classes!  Danson had a great trip around in walk-trot and learned about riding in traffic while we warmed up in the warm-up rings and during show breaks.
